Melissa A. Mathurin
History & Mission

Melissa A. Mathurin is a board certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner who has been in practice for over 20 years.  After overcoming her own health challenges,including breast cancer and thyroid dysfunction, Melissa has dedicated her practice to helping women improve their health and vibrance through hormonal balance. She has advanced education in hormone replacement therapy and nutritional science.  She holds certificates in low carb, high fat (LCHF) /Ketogenic Nutrition & Treatment through The Noakes Foundation and bioidentical hormone replacement through BioTE Medical and additional training through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). Melissa is currently enrolled in the School of Applied Functional Medicine (SAFM) to further expand her knowledge.

Melissa is originally from the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York. She is a Navy Nurse Corps veteran and has lived in many different locations. She and her husband currently reside in Midcoast Maine.  Melissa has a great love of animals and her free time is spent taking care of her horses, cat, and dog.
